1 hour panel: Exploring the 2025 BHM theme: How do Black activists, leaders, and educators embody “Standing Firm in Power and Pride”? Discussion will focus on UK racial justice movements, cultural identity, and progress in equality work.

This will be a part of our two-part panel event; this first panel will be ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’ a panel on Black activism surrounding BHM generally, and the second ‘Gowns and Colonial Grounds: Navigating being the Only One in the Room at Oxford’ will be University-specific regarding the APP and student experience. Following each 45-minute panel, there will be an opportunity for Q&A. Both panels will both be chaired by Seun, SU President for Undergraduates.
