Oxford SU is hosting a surgery with Anneliese Dodds, MP for Oxford East. This session will focus on policy discussion, with space to capture casework signposting where appropriate. It is an opportunity to meet an MP, raise issues that matter to you, and seek advice or support on concerns affecting you or your community. We invite you to discuss matters of local or national importance.
It is important for you to register for the slot of interest to ensure we manage room capacity. You are welcome to book to attend multiple slots, but you must register for both.
The following policy areas will be discussed:

15:30-16:00 - International affairs and student solidarity - including student perspectives on Gaza / Israel and how national foreign policy affects campus life.
16:00-16:30 - Student finance and welfare - covering student fees, the international student levy, housing, maintenance loans, mental health provision, and practical support for students facing financial pressure.
